Attack on maternity hospital in Kharkiv and suspicion against the head of the CPD: main news for July 11
According to glavcom.ua: The head of the Anti-Corruption Center, Vitaliy Shabunin, has been suspected of evading military service and abusing his official status. This became known from the employees of the State Bureau of Investigations, who did not name the suspect. However, according to the SBI, it is indeed about Shabunin.
The suspect is accused of evading service, receiving illegal remuneration, and using a vehicle that was supposed to be handed over for military needs. It has also been noted that Shabunin used the vehicle for personal purposes.
“Mobilized in 2022, the suspect for a long time did not appear at the place of service and under the guise of 'business trips' was in civilian institutions unrelated to the Armed Forces. There are also documented facts of him receiving monthly financial support in the amount of over 50,000 UAH, despite his actual absence from the military unit,” the SBI noted.
The attack by the Russian terrorist army on Kharkiv led to damage to buildings and vehicles, as well as injuries and stress reactions among women and children. The city experienced fires and destruction, which led to the evacuation of residents. In Odesa, as a result of drone attacks, buildings and vehicles also suffered damage, people were injured, and an animal was killed. Euromaidan activist Andriy Kolomiyets returned to Ukraine after 10 years of detention in Russia, and President Zelensky announced personnel changes in the government and team, demanding results in addressing tasks amid the war in the east of the country.
