95,000 Attendees and $4.6 Million Raised for Drones: The Atlas Festival 2026 in Review

According to РБК-Україна — Lite: Held in Kyiv from July 17-19, the Atlas Festival 2026 drew 95,000 visitors and featured over 80 performers. The event was not just a musical highlight but also a major charitable effort, raising 103 million Ukrainian hryvnias (approximately $2.8 million) for the 'Dronopad' drone project and an additional 4,606,063 UAH (around $125,000) through auctions. This festival has become a key moment in Ukraine's cultural calendar, blending entertainment with wartime fundraising.

Among the standout performances, MONATIK delivered his 'Monatlas' project in a full 360-degree format, while Artem Pyvovarov wowed crowds with aerial staging that included rope flights, crane maneuvers, and intricate light constructions. The band BoomBox showcased dramatic stagecraft with a falling curtain and a set designed as a giant boombox. During the Bez Obmezhen performance, a ten-meter blue-and-yellow flag was unfurled. Shugar presented a new stage concept called 'Shugar Station' with a refreshed image. Additional performers included:

The Australian duo Breathe, who paused work on a new album to perform at the festival, traveled over 50 hours and nearly 15,000 kilometers to be there. Their show featured a video message from friends in Australia, the UK, the US, and other countries. The military musicians' program on the Shelter Loco Stage was initiated by writer and serviceman Serhiy Zhadan.

The festival operated under the motto 'Unites. Inspires. Helps.' Through the 'Collection 150%' project in partnership with the 'Come Back Alive' foundation and PrivatBank, a significant sum was raised to support the military. The charitable campaign continues even after the concerts have ended. Among the final prize draws scheduled after the festival are:

• A Jeep Avenger (July 27)
• An apartment (August 3)
• A Jeep Compass (August 10)

The most expensive auction lot-a piece of art featuring patches and autographs from the band BoomBox-sold for 200,000 UAH. A bottle of champagne signed by musicians and a guitar from the band Bez Obmezhen each brought in 100,000 UAH. In total, auctions over the three days raised 4,606,063 UAH. The Shelter space also featured a 'Public Alley,' adding a layer of social engagement to the event.

Atlas Festival 2026 was a significant event not only for the music industry but also as a platform for raising funds to support military and charitable initiatives.
