Russian troops shot a Ukrainian soldier during surrender: video evidence

Observing the weather conditions, enemy troops attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, resulting in the death of a serviceman from the 10th separate mountain assault brigade 'Edelweiss'.

During a search of a private house, Russian soldiers found a Ukrainian defender who, raising his hands, decided to surrender. However, this led to his injury and subsequent death due to enemy fire.

The investigation is probing the crime

The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office has initiated a pre-trial investigation into the murder of a Ukrainian soldier in the Sever direction. He was mobilized from Nizhny Novgorod prison at the end of 2024, where he was serving time for robbery and theft.
