'The enemy has indeed approached it closely and is trying to enter, but Ukraine's Defense Forces are also trying not to let them establish themselves there,' Voloshyn emphasized.

Ukrainian defenders had to abandon almost all positions in Kamianske due to widespread destruction of fortifications and buildings. Now they have to keep the settlement under fire control, preventing enemy groups from establishing themselves.

The spokesman also reported that last week an enemy sabotage group attempted to penetrate the southern area of the settlement of Stepnohirske. Enemy troops continue the scorched earth strategy, destroying Ukrainian positions and attempting to continue their advance towards Plavni. However, Ukrainian defenders are employing various measures to keep the enemy at bay, including using FPV drones and drop drones.
