Brave1: how 2.6 billion UAH in grants are transforming into defense technologies for Ukraine
According to Федоров: The Brave1 grants facilitate the rapid development of technological solutions for the security and defense sector in Ukraine. As part of this initiative, over 2.6 billion UAH in grants have already been issued, transforming into the creation of new markets for defense technologies. Brave1 unites 2,350 developers and has more than 4,900 developments, indicating the active development of innovations in this field.
Innovation development in the defense sector
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has been responsible for the development of innovations in the defense sector. In 2023, the Brave1 cluster was launched based on the Innovation Development Fund, aimed at facilitating the rapid implementation of new technological solutions that can be used to enhance the security of the country.
These grants not only support developers but also open new opportunities for creating high-tech products necessary for ensuring Ukraine's defense capability. Thus, Brave1 becomes an important tool in strengthening the country's defense capabilities through innovation and technological progress.
