In the nearest future, the issuance of reservations from mobilization through the 'Diia' portal may be temporarily suspended in Ukraine. According to preliminary information, the restrictions will be in effect until September 1, 2026, and are associated with a review of the criteria for identifying critically important enterprises. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing an informed source.

Booking through 'Diia': what may change by September 1, 2026

According to the source, the decision to temporarily suspend reservations was made at the level of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff. However, it has not yet been officially announced.

The interlocutor of the publication notes that the final mechanism is still under discussion. One of the options involves suspending the issuance only for enterprises that have not yet confirmed their critical status. Another scenario involves a temporary halt to the submission of new applications for all companies.

It is preliminarily expected that applications already under consideration will be refined. Meanwhile, businesses will temporarily be unable to submit new documents through 'Diia'.

New booking rules: what will happen to critically important enterprises

After the verification process is complete, enterprises will gradually regain the opportunity to make reservations if they confirm their critically important status according to the updated requirements.

The source also reports that the mechanism for rebooking employees may remain available specifically for those companies that successfully pass the procedure for re-confirming their criticality.

At the end of May, the Cabinet of Ministers updated the rules for booking employees and instructed a review of the criteria for identifying critically important enterprises. One of the key changes was the increase in requirements for the average salary level.

According to the government's decision, businesses have until September 1, 2026, to re-confirm their critical status under the new rules. Enterprises that fail to meet these requirements may lose their respective status, and their employees will lose the right to reservation from mobilization.
