Life and Activities of Oleksandr Papp

Oleksandr Papp was born in Slavuta, Khmelnytskyi region, and dedicated his life to the development of Ukrainian medicine. He performed complex surgeries that helped people regain their hearing and participated in scientific research.

After receiving his education, Oleksandr worked as an otolaryngologist and research fellow at the Institute of Otolaryngology, starting his career as a student at Uzhhorod National University.

“He was there where it was most dangerous”

In 2014, when the war started, Oleksandr decided to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine and became a volunteer medic. He assisted his comrades and local residents at the forefront in the Luhansk direction.

Sadly, on May 16, 2022, during a rocket attack, Oleksandr Papp died, leaving an inexpressible feeling in the post-war hearts of loved ones and colleagues. His courage and self-sacrifice will always be remembered.
