According to Главком: The Czech Republic football team has announced its final roster for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted across Canada, Mexico, and the United States. A significant majority of the squad-17 players-comes from the domestic Czech league. This tournament marks only the second time the Czech Republic has qualified as an independent nation, with their previous appearance being in 2006.

Preparation and Upcoming Matches

Under head coach Miroslav Koubek, the team has already played a friendly match as part of their World Cup preparations, defeating Kosovo 2–1. Their next fixture is scheduled for June 5 against Guatemala. The Czechs will kick off their World Cup campaign on June 12 against South Korea, followed by a match with South Africa on June 18. On June 25, they will face Mexico.
