The price of oil has reached a four-year low

The price of oil continues to plummet and has reached its lowest point in the last four years. As of November 3, the price of the OPEC oil basket is officially $80.64 per barrel. This was reported by the international secretariat of the cartel of oil-exporting countries.

Thus, the OPEC basket has decreased by $1.33, which constitutes 1.62% compared to the previous reporting date. Before that, on October 30, oil was priced at $81.97 per barrel.

International experts from the energy agency believe that the reason for such a sharp decline in the price of oil is the decrease in demand for fuel.
