The General Staff denied the capture of Kup'yansk: the situation is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The General Staff refutes information about the occupation of Kup'yansk and Yampil
According to glavcom.ua: The Armed Forces of Ukraine responded to allegations from the aggressor about the military occupation of the cities of Kup'yansk and Yampil. According to the General Staff, these statements are false. The settlements are under the control of Ukrainian forces, who continue to conduct operations to oust the enemy from the cities.
It is also reported that information about the capture of the cities of Vovchansk and Pokrovsk is also unreliable. Currently, active military operations are underway in Pokrovsk to eliminate the enemy's terrorist groups.
“Let us remind you that Russian propaganda had already denied journalists access to Kup'yansk and Pokrovsk a month ago. The Russian General Staff is trying to mask the defeats of its army by launching predatory and ruthless attacks on civilian residents. The most tragic consequence of this is the death of civilians, including children, who suffer greatly.”
It is also emphasized that Ukrainian forces are achieving success in the Kup'yansk direction, particularly to the north of Pishchane. Reports of significant movements of Russian troops in the center of Kup'yansk are unfounded, the General Staff notes.
Active hostilities continue in the military conflict in eastern Ukraine, with information flowing from both sides. The General Staff rejects allegations of military occupation of Kup'yansk and Yampil, emphasizing that the situation is controlled by Ukrainian troops and operations are being conducted to oust opponents from the settlements.
