Former Deputy Prime Minister Chernyshov Posts 51 Million Bail: What is Known About the Case

Chernyshov released from custody: bail
Екс-заступник прем'єр-міністра Чернишов сплатив заставу у 51 мільйон гривень: деталі справи.

Oleksiy Chernyshov has posted bail in the amount of 51 million hryvnias, and on the evening of November 19, he will be able to leave the pre-trial detention center. This information is reported by 'Skhemy' citing sources in law enforcement agencies. Two individuals posted bail: one for 30 million hryvnias and the other for 21.6 million hryvnias.

Earlier, the High Anti-Corruption Court placed Oleksiy Chernyshov in custody for 60 days with the possibility of posting bail in the amount of 51 million 600 thousand hryvnias. He is suspected of receiving improper benefits in a case involving large-scale corruption in the energy sector.

It has been noted that Chernyshov's case is part of the NABU operation 'Midas', which became a major corruption scandal during the presidency of Zelensky.

Energy expert Viktor Kurtev emphasizes that in Ukraine, there is actually a 'clan war' under the guise of fighting corruption. NABU detectives have recorded the involvement of four ministers of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from different periods in complex financial flows marked by the Federal Reserve Bank of the USA.

This news once again underscores the importance of fighting corruption and the need for strict oversight of the activities of government officials to ensure transparency and integrity in the management of the country.
