Gas prices for residential consumers in January 2026

According to ХВИЛЯ: Gas supply companies have published gas prices for residential consumers for January 2026. In particular, the basic annual tariffs remained at the previous level, while monthly offers have decreased. Currently, eight gas suppliers are operating in the Ukrainian market, offering various conditions for their customers.

Basic and monthly tariffs

The basic annual tariffs in January 2026 range from 7.96 to 9.99 UAH per cubic meter. Among suppliers offering the most favorable conditions, it is worth noting:

• Naftogaz of Ukraine - 7.96 UAH per cubic meter
• Ternopil Oblgas Sales - 7.96 UAH per cubic meter
• Prikarpat Energo Trade - 7.98 UAH per cubic meter
• Galnaftogaz / OKKO Contract - 7.99 UAH per cubic meter
• Lvivenergobud - 8.20 UAH per cubic meter
• LightGas - 9.99 UAH per cubic meter

Monthly commercial offers in January range from 8.46 to 25.8 UAH per cubic meter. Suppliers such as Kyiv Energy Services and Dnipro Energy Services offer the lowest monthly tariffs at 8.46 UAH per cubic meter. Meanwhile, LightGas and Lvivenergobud have set significantly higher prices: 24.99 UAH and 25.80 UAH per cubic meter, respectively.

It is worth noting that about 98% of residential consumers receive gas from Naftogaz of Ukraine. In total, over 12 million households are residential gas consumers in Ukraine. Thus, the current situation in the gas market indicates the stability of basic tariffs, while decreasing monthly offers may become more attractive to consumers.

The constant stability of basic tariffs may indicate a certain confidence among gas supply companies in their financial plans and the market as a whole. The reduction of monthly tariffs may encourage consumers to more actively compare gas supply conditions and choose the most favorable offers, which, in turn, may stimulate competition among suppliers.
