SBI revealed more than 2700 traitors: who received real sentences

The State Bureau of Investigations systematically studies individuals who committed treason against Ukraine during the war. Investigators collect evidence, interview witnesses, and submit materials to the court in order to hold the guilty accountable. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the SBI has investigated 2730 criminal proceedings for crimes against national security, including: - 1888 proceedings for state treason, - 663 proceedings for collaborationist activities, - 46 proceedings for aiding the aggressor state and others. As of early August: - 1481 individuals have been notified of suspicion, - 514 individuals are wanted, - 1349 individuals are being checked for involvement in state treason and collaborationism, - 1278 indictments have been sent to court. This is important police work that contributes to maintaining national security and identifying and holding accountable those guilty of treason against Ukraine during the war.
