The former hundred of Maidan and serviceman Volodymyr Parasyuk is currently performing combat missions in Donbas. According to him, the main service area of his unit is located in the northern section of this direction. He described this in an interview with Ramina Eskhakzai.

Volodymyr Parasyuk spoke about where he is currently serving

In the interview, he noted that the unit he serves in is carrying out its tasks in one of the areas of Donbas. This refers to the northern part of the front where Ukrainian soldiers are constantly engaged in combat operations.

According to Parasyuk, it is impossible to talk about 'easier' parts of the front right now, as the risks remain high even at a significant distance from the contact line.

He provided an example of the situation on the Izyum - Slovyansk highway, where the threat of strikes and the work of drones keep the danger present even dozens of kilometers away from the frontline.

The war in Donbas has become more technological

The military noted that the nature of combat operations has significantly changed compared to the beginning of the full-scale war. Today, drones and intelligence play a key role in battles.

According to him, Ukrainian units actively use drones to detect and destroy the enemy even before they approach their positions.

Parasyuk emphasized that the Ukrainian army has learned to effectively repel large-scale enemy attacks, including assaults using tanks and armored vehicles.

At the same time, he stated that countering so-called 'creeping' attacks remains more challenging, as the enemy gradually accumulates forces in positions.

Earlier, we reported that journalist Ramina Eskhakzai published a special issue entitled 'Afghanistan 2.0. What was left behind the scenes,' in which she denied rumors about cooperation with Russian special services and funding for her trip to Afghanistan.
