Ending of protection for Ukrainians in the EU: what risks and what do the government and the EU plan

The Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, Denys Uliutin, during his official visit to the USA, met with the EU Coordinator for Combating Human Trafficking, Dayan Schmitt. They discussed strategic areas of cooperation in preventing and combating human trafficking. Attention was also drawn to the need for enhanced coordination of actions due to the end of the temporary protection regime for Ukrainians in the EU in 2027.
Denys Uliutin emphasized the importance of support from the European Union in the fight against human trafficking, but at the same time stressed the need for effective coordination to prevent possible threats that may arise due to the end of the temporary protection regime in the EU.
