Hair Salon Visit Sparks Political Critique

According to Главком: Ukrainian Member of Parliament Mykola Tyshchenko published a post about a visit to a hair salon, drawing a comparison between the work of a professional stylist and that of government officials. He noted that a true professional's results are always visible, illustrating his point with 'before' and 'after' photos from stylist Olha. Tyshchenko criticized the appointment of individuals to state positions who, in his view, work not for tangible results but for personal gain, arguing their so-called 'reforms' cannot be positively assessed in a 'before and after' format.

Assault on Activist Dmytro Pavlov

This post drew a mixed reaction, particularly against the backdrop of events in Dnipro. There, an assault occurred on former volunteer and Kraken special unit fighter Dmytro 'Syn' Pavlov, who had been recording Tyshchenko's activities on his phone. Pavlov's child and wife were present during the attack, in which he was beaten and placed in handcuffs. In connection with this incident, two criminal proceedings have been initiated in central Dnipro.

Mykola Tyshchenko has now been formally notified that he is a suspect in the unlawful deprivation of liberty of the former serviceman. These events continue to draw public attention to the MP's activities and his comparisons, which have sparked debate over official accountability. The situation highlights ongoing tensions in Ukraine between political figures and civil society activists. The unfolding case raises broader questions about political conduct and the mechanisms for holding elected officials to account.
