The government is reloading the leadership of Energoatom and Naftogaz: what will change

The government of Ukraine has decided to reboot the governing bodies of state-owned enterprises in the fuel and energy complex. This means that changes in leadership are planned in the near future, including the formation of new supervisory boards and executive bodies, as well as conducting competitive selections for important positions.

Among the enterprises that will undergo such changes are Energoatom, Naftogaz of Ukraine, Ukrgazvydobuvannya, Ukrnafta, Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine, Ukrhydroenergo, Centrenergo, Ukrainian Distribution Networks, Regional Electric Networks, and others.

It is also planned to replace representatives of the state on the supervisory boards of many companies, including the Operator of the Gas Transport System of Ukraine and the National Energy Company Ukrenergo.

In addition, competitive selections for the heads of executive bodies will also take place in Ukrhydroenergo and the Operator of the Gas Transport System of Ukraine. These changes are aimed at improving management and developing the energy sector of the country.
