Prohibited Software and Communication Equipment

According to Главком: The State Special Communications and Information Protection Service of Ukraine has published a list of prohibited software and communication equipment. This list is the official source of information for government authorities, local self-governments, military formations, state enterprises, and critical infrastructure operators.

All products listed are manufactured by the Russian company '1C'. Until 2017, these software solutions were sold and supported in Ukraine by the companies 'Evrosofthrom' and 'Skyline Software', which also fell under sanctions. According to data, in 2021, about 60 job vacancies related to '1C' products were posted monthly on the DOU portal.

The ban on the use of software produced by the Russian company '1C' is an important element of Ukraine's strategy to strengthen information security. Excluding these products from circulation can reduce the risks of cyber threats and the impact of hostile technologies on the country's critical infrastructure. It also emphasizes Ukraine's commitment to complying with sanctions and ensuring the protection of its information systems in the context of military aggression from Russia.
