Paratroopers neutralized enemy sabotage groups in the Pokrovsk direction

Ukrainian military successfully repelled sabotage groups that attempted to infiltrate the cities of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad in early August. Currently, these cities are beyond the reach of enemy spies.

According to a representative of the 7th Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian saboteurs were eliminated in the first half of August. There are no enemy troops in the specified cities anymore.

'There are no sabotage groups trying to infiltrate Pokrovsk in the rear anymore,' the military confirmed.

After the unsuccessful attempts of enemy forces to use sabotage groups, they switched to assaults with small infantry groups. Now Russian troops have decided to abandon sabotage tactics.

'It seems that after certain events, the sabotage groups were waiting for the right moment for a massive attack on the city. However, they failed. Now they have returned to other actions,' the officer explained.

Thus, the enemy's attempt to quickly capture the city through sabotage was unsuccessful, leading to a change in the strategy of Russian troops.
