New push notification feature in the Diia app

The Diia app has launched a new push notification feature that will inform users about the cancellation of their registered place of residence. This innovation will allow users to instantly learn the status of their residence, which is an important step in the field of digital services.

All Diia users aged 14 and older will receive push notifications. The reasons for the cancellation of the registered place of residence may vary. Among them:

• invalid passport;
• violation of legal requirements;
• court decision;
• detection of false information.

This information enables citizens to stay informed about changes in their registration and take necessary actions.

Collaboration in implementing the function

The project is being implemented as part of the EGAP Program with the support of Switzerland. The implementation of this function is the result of collaboration between the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Migration Service, and the State Enterprise 'Document'. Thanks to this initiative, users will be able to quickly receive important information about their place of residence, which will increase transparency and convenience in the provision of administrative services.
