Major Moves in Ukrainian Football

According to Главком: The Ukrainian football scene has witnessed significant transfer activity. Maksym Braharu has departed Dynamo Kyiv to continue his career with Zhytomyr's Polissya. His contract with the new club runs until the summer of 2029. Last season, the 23-year-old winger played for Polissya on loan, featuring in 26 matches and recording eight goal contributions (four goals and four assists). Transfermarkt values him at €1.5 million. Braharu initially joined Dynamo in the summer of 2024 from Odesa's Chornomorets, where he made 27 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing one assist. During his time with Dynamo, he won the Ukrainian Premier League gold medal in the 2024/2025 season.

New Signings and Returns

Another key transfer involves midfielder Oleksandr Yatsyk signing with FC Kharkiv. Yatsyk has agreed to a four-year deal, with the transfer fee estimated at around €2.5 million. He will wear the number 8 jersey for his new team, which becomes the third club of his senior career. Previously, he played on loan for Luhansk's Zorya, spending two seasons there. In the 2025/26 campaign, Yatsyk made 27 appearances for Dynamo, scoring three goals. Notably, Yatsyk first entered Dynamo's system as a high schooler, coming from the academy of Kyiv's Obolon.

Defender Tomasz Kędziora has also returned to Dynamo after a multi-year absence. The Polish player left Greek club PAOK from Thessaloniki and will join the Kyiv side on a free transfer. These moves show Ukrainian clubs actively reshaping their squads by bringing in new talent.

These transfers reflect the clubs' intensive preparations for the upcoming season, which could significantly impact their chances in domestic competitions and European tournaments. Braharu's permanent move to Polissya following a successful loan spell may prove crucial for his career development, while Yatsyk's signing underscores Kharkiv's ambition to strengthen their squad. Kędziora's return to Dynamo is expected to add experience to the team's defense, potentially boosting their performance in the new season.

The ongoing reshaping of Dynamo Kyiv's squad is not limited to recent departures. As the team seeks to strengthen its lineup, the return of Tomasz Kędziora adds significant depth to their defensive options. His experience will be crucial as the club navigates the challenges of both domestic and European competitions in the upcoming season.
