Children’s Artwork Boosts Rescuer Morale

According to МВС: During an event held as part of the 'Extracurricular Activities – A Space of Care' Day of Action, children aged 4 to 10 from the Kherson region created a variety of handmade items for emergency responders. This gathering gave young students a meaningful opportunity to show their gratitude and support for the rescuers who serve their communities.

A psychologist from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) delivered the children’s creations to personnel, highlighting how crucial mental support is in today’s challenging environment. The activity was organized under the nationwide mental health program 'How Are You?', launched by Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska to emphasize emotional well-being during crises.

Fostering Social Responsibility and Emotional Wellness

Beyond nurturing children’s creative talents, the event underscored the importance of social responsibility and mutual support among the younger generation. Programs like 'How Are You?' help shift focus to mental health, a vital concern given the pressures society faces, especially during emergencies.

As the initiative to support mental well-being gains momentum, it's essential to recognize the collaborative efforts in providing psychological assistance across the nation. A recent launch of a comprehensive support program has seen over 250 resilience centers come together, aiming to enhance emotional stability during these trying times.
