A new international train from Przemyśl to Frankfurt am Main has been launched for Ukrainians

Starting from August 1, a new international night train will operate between Polish Przemyśl and Frankfurt am Main. For Ukrainians, it will be another option to reach Germany with a transfer to Ukrzaliznytsia routes. This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.

The Renfe train from Przemyśl to Frankfurt will operate daily

According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the new route will be launched by the Spanish train company Renfe, with which the Ukrainian carrier recently signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The train will pass through Poland, the Czech Republic, and Germany. Key stops will include Kraków, Ostrava, Prague, Dresden, Bad Schandau, Weißenfels, Naumburg, Apolda, Gotha, Eisenach, Hanau, and Offenbach.

The train will depart from Przemyśl daily at 12:04, arriving in Kraków at 15:03, Prague at 22:32, Dresden at 01:38, and Frankfurt am Main at 07:22 the following day.

In the return direction, the train will depart from Frankfurt at 15:03. Arrival in Dresden is scheduled for 22:30, in Prague at 01:17, and in Przemyśl at 11:25.

Transfers from Ukrzaliznytsia trains in Przemyśl

Ukrzaliznytsia promises convenient connections with the international route for passengers traveling to Przemyśl or returning to Ukraine. This includes the following trains:

• No. 51/52 Kyiv, Przemyśl;

• No. 31/32 Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Przemyśl;

• No. 69/70 Kremenchuk, Przemyśl;

• No. 35/36 Odesa, Przemyśl;

• No. 89/90 Kyiv, Przemyśl.

The new route allows you to reach Germany by one night train after crossing the border, rather than looking for separate bus or train connections through several countries.

What carriages and prices will the train to Germany have

The train will have Economy Sleeper Class cars with compartments for one, two, three, or four passengers. They are equipped with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and sockets, and breakfast is included in the ticket price.

Passengers will be able to choose mixed or female compartments. The price of a berth in the sleeper car starts from 37.50 euros. There will also be first and second-class seated cars, with tickets starting from 15 euros.

It should be noted that Ukrzaliznytsia launched an additional train from Lviv to Rivne via Lutsk.
