Kyiv resident sentenced to 9 years for attempting to send drugs via delivery service
According to Прокуратура Київ: A 24-year-old resident of Kyiv was sentenced to 9 years in prison for possession and attempting to sell drugs. Prosecutors of the Shevchenkivskyi District Prosecutor's Office brought public charges against him.
The court also decided to confiscate the offender's property. The prosecutor confirmed that the man had stored drugs at home for the purpose of further sale, including PVP, amphetamine, 4-MMC, cannabis and its extract.
'Until the sentence enters into legal force, the accused remains in custody,' the Kyiv city prosecutor's office reported.
The offender was caught attempting to send drugs to a client via a delivery service. The pre-trial investigation was conducted by the police of Kyiv.
As a result of uncovering this criminal case, the court made a harsh decision regarding the lawbreaker who attempted to engage in illegal drug trafficking in the capital. He currently remains behind bars until his sentence becomes legal.
