Drone Attacks Target Russian Energy Infrastructure
According to ХВИЛЯ: In the early hours of June 12, unmanned aerial vehicles struck three facilities within Russia’s fuel and energy sector. The attacks occurred in Tatarstan, targeting the Nizhnekamskneftekhim and Taneco plants, as well as the Tolyattikauchuk facility in the Samara region. One strike hit a residential building, injuring three people. Additionally, a fire broke out in Simferopol, accompanied by power outages.
Explosions were reported at the Nizhnekamskneftekhim plant, owned by Sibur, which specializes in synthetic rubbers, plastics, monomers, and polyesters.
