Rescuers in Ternopil have been searching for people among the ruins for the second day: 26 dead
According to glavcom.ua: In Ternopil, search and emergency rescue operations are ongoing at the site of the Russian strike. Rescuers are working continuously, clearing debris and searching for people who may have been caught in the destruction zone. During this time, 880 square meters of destroyed structures have been dismantled and 370 tons of construction debris have been removed.
Currently, 68 rescuers and 16 units of equipment are working at the accident site. In total, 194 rescuers and 53 units of equipment have been involved in the elimination of the consequences of the natural disaster, reports the State Emergency Service.
Currently, 26 dead civilians are known, including three children, and 93 injured, including 18 children. A total of 46 people have been rescued, among them seven children. About 20 people are still considered missing. The Russian Federation attacked Ternopil with missiles, leading to such terrible consequences.
From November 19 to 21, days of mourning have been declared in Ternopil for those who died as a result of the attack. However, amid the troubles, rescuers discovered a parrot that was saved from the ruins of the destroyed building. The bird was found alive in a cage among household debris.
As a result of the missile strike in Ternopil, 26 people have died, including three children, and more than 90 people have been injured. A total of 46 people have been rescued, among them seven children. Days of mourning have been declared due to the tragedy.
