Introducing Khmelnytskyi’s New Four-Day Travel Experience

According to УНІАН — Туризм: The second comprehensive tourist route through Khmelnytskyi region has been unveiled as part of Ukraine’s national "Journey to Yourself: Paths to Renewal" program. Designed for a four-day adventure, this itinerary was developed by the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine (DART) in partnership with BRAND UKRAINE, local authorities, and businesses. Visitors can expect a diverse mix of activities, including hiking, river rafting, visits to artisanal wineries, and tastings set against historically rich backdrops, offering a well-rounded experience of the area.

Route Highlights and Media Engagement

The route stretches from Kamianets-Podilskyi to Bakota, revealing the fascinating geological features of the Kyitahorod exposure. In August 2026, Ukrainian journalists, including representatives from UNIAN, participated in a test run of the route, underscoring growing media interest in expanding Ukraine’s tourism infrastructure and promoting emerging destinations.

The program’s inaugural route focused on the Mykolaiv region and was launched in September 2026. Complementing these efforts, a dedicated website, dosebe.travel, went live in August 2026, allowing users to customize their own restorative travel itineraries based on personal preferences. This initiative aims to boost domestic tourism and attract visitors to regions undergoing revitalization.

Beyond being a simple travel option, this route symbolizes Ukraine’s commitment to rebuilding and strengthening internal tourism, particularly in areas needing economic and cultural support. The active involvement of media highlights the critical role of public engagement and private sector collaboration in restoring and enhancing the country’s tourism landscape.

As Ukraine continues to enhance its tourism offerings, the recent launch of a curated tour in the Mykolaiv region highlights the success of similar initiatives. This first tour under the "Journey to Yourself" program not only showcases unique experiences but also sets a precedent for future travel routes across the country.
