According to Главком: Anna Mamchur, the widow of the late head of the explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) service for the Rivne region police, Oleksandr Mamchur, has enlisted in the National Police of Ukraine. She has been appointed to the service and will undergo training to work within the EOD unit, thereby continuing her husband's vital work. This move highlights the profound personal commitment of families affected by the ongoing conflict.

Previously, Anna Mamchur worked as a forensic expert at the Rivne Scientific Research Expert and Criminalistics Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. On January 26, the head of the personnel department for the Rivne region police, Yana Lisnychenko, presented Anna Mamchur and 15 other newly appointed officers with their official service commencement documents. Upon completing her training, Anna Mamchur will serve as part of the Rivne regional police's explosive ordnance disposal service.

Anna Mamchur stated: 'I consciously chose to serve in the unit where my husband served. For him, it was not just a workplace, but a life's mission and a responsibility to the people and the state. I know this service well from the inside and share its values-professionalism, mutual support, and honor. For me, this is a way to preserve his memory not with words, but through daily work.' - Anna Mamchur
