DSNS in one day: over 6000 departures and 173 lives saved
Rescue operations of DSNS
According to МВС: During the last day, rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) made over 6000 departures to eliminate emergencies, resulting in the rescue of 173 people. A significant portion of these departures was related to the consequences of Russian shelling, particularly in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
Strengthening the work of DSNS
As part of the strengthening of DSNS's work, an energy unit was created to install generators for emergency power supply to residential buildings. This decision was a response to the growing needs of the population for electricity during emergencies. Additionally, the number of police patrols has been increased to ensure safety on highways and streets.
Furthermore, psychologists from DSNS and the police are on duty at resilience points, providing support to those in need. Pneumatic modular shelters have been deployed in the courtyards of apartment buildings to provide necessary conditions for people in difficult situations.
The Head of the National Police of Ukraine, Igor Klymenko, noted: 'Our work is now focused on the main thing: to ensure that people go through this period in safety and with support.'
These measures are aimed at ensuring safety and support for the population in the context of emergencies caused by aggression.
The current situation in Ukraine requires urgent actions from state services, including DSNS and the police, to ensure safety and support for the population. The introduction of the energy unit and the increase in patrols indicate the state's efforts to respond to the challenges associated with hostilities and their consequences. Such initiatives are important for maintaining the morale of the population and ensuring the necessary conditions for survival during the war.
