According to Прокуратура Київ: In Kyiv, two men have been sentenced to 11 and 13 years of imprisonment for the intentional murder of an acquaintance. They were found guilty under part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. According to the case materials, the convicted tried to disguise the victim's death as a drug overdose.

The man's death was caused by combined mechanical asphyxia as a result of the defendants' actions. The sentence was passed by the Solomyansky District Court of Kyiv, which considered all the circumstances of the case and decided on the punishment for the guilty.
