According to Прокуратура Київ: The Podil District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv has informed about charging two individuals for the illegal occupation of a land plot in Podil, Kyiv. According to the prosecution, the individuals acted as part of a group and used forged documents to seize the land plot.

Case details

The suspects illegally occupied a land plot located near the exit of the Contract Square metro station, in protected areas. The total area of the premises for which ownership rights were registered is 165 sq.m. The value of this land plot exceeds 11 million hryvnias.

The actions of the suspects are qualified under parts 2 of Article 197-1, parts 3 and 4 of Article 358, and part 2 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Law enforcement agencies continue to investigate the case.
