According to glavcom.ua: Biatlon star Laura Dahlmeier found herself in a difficult situation - she was caught in a landslide in the mountains of Pakistan. This news is reported by the news agency Reuters, referring to the portal «Glavcom».

On July 28, Laura went hiking with her friend, but she suddenly felt danger. She is currently missing. A search and rescue operation has begun.

Qualified mountain and ski guide

Due to the inaccessibility of the tragedy site, rescuers only reached there on July 29. It is important to note that the 31-year-old athlete has a diploma as a mountain and ski guide.

Laura finished her professional career in 2019. She became a two-time Olympic champion at the 2018 Winter Games and a seven-time world champion.

"Hard training, heavy breathing, but such a wonderful feeling! I am looking forward to the addition to our family in early January," Laura signed her message.

37-year-old Laura and her husband Nils Jakob Hoff are raising a daughter, who was born in 2023.
