Former head of the State Emergency Service of Vinnytsia region detained for slavery: case details
The employees of the State Bureau of Investigation announced that they suspect the former head of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in the Vinnytsia region. He is accused of forcing his subordinates to work on his construction projects and repairs for free. This information was reported with reference to the SBI in the publication

Abuse of official position
The investigation showed that during five months from June 2024 to March 2025, five rescuers were forced to work on the construction and repair of real estate objects in the Vinnytsia and Kharkiv regions. They were made to work both during regular working hours and outside of them. Instead of performing their official duties, they helped build houses for the official and engaged in repair works.
As a result of the investigation, it turned out that the former head of the SES used his official position for personal gain, violating the rights of his subordinates and using their labor without payment. Such behavior of the official is unacceptable and he is currently in custody.
