According to ХВИЛЯ: Chairman of the Committee of Economists of Ukraine Andriy Novak refuted rumors about the possible depreciation of the hryvnia to 50-60 hryvnias per dollar. He emphasized that support from the European Union and international partners ensures the stability of the Ukrainian economy. According to Novak, the projected exchange rate of the hryvnia is set in the budget with a large margin, which allows avoiding sharp fluctuations in the exchange rate.

Novak noted that Ukraine enters 2026 with a solid financial buffer, which also contributes to the stability of the national currency.
“This provides additional opportunities to maintain the stability of the hryvnia,” he noted.
The expert stated that panic about the exchange rate can be completely dismissed. Guaranteed financial support, he said, provides the National Bank of Ukraine with sufficient resources to keep the situation under control.
