Scandal with volunteer Martyniuk: soldier Eva Tur on the hate for asking about the uniform

The conflict between the war veteran, medical worker, and artist Eva Tur and volunteer Valeria Zaluzhna, known as Alla Martyniuk, erupted during the Russo-Ukrainian war. The quarrel arose when Eva pointed out that Alla was wearing a combat shirt designed for soldiers. After this exchange of remarks under a post on «Glavcom», Martyniuk's supporters wrote to Eva in private messages with sexist and offensive statements. Social networks were filled with reactions from volunteers and soldiers who supported veteran Eva and criticized the behavior of volunteer Alla Martyniuk. In the end, Eva urged supporters of volunteering to understand that assistance to the army is an investment in one’s own security and should not be accompanied by the humiliation of soldiers, especially women.
