Suspect in the murder of schoolchildren in Sharhorod detained
According to glavcom.ua: The head of the Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office, Oleg Tkaienko, signed a notice of suspicion against a former teacher under paragraph 1 part 2 of article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional murder of two persons), who is likely involved in the murder of two schoolchildren in Sharhorod. Currently, investigative actions are ongoing with the suspect.
On the morning of September 10, two teenagers with knife wounds were found in the city of Sharhorod, located in the Zhmerynka district of Vinnytsia region. According to Member of Parliament of Ukraine of the IX convocation, Larysa Bilozir, the tragedy occurred around 7:30 in the city center. Nearby the hospital, an unknown young man brutally killed two teenagers - students of the 10th and 11th grades who were on their way to school.
According to the order of the mayor of the Sharhorod City Council, September 10 and 11 have been declared days of mourning in the community. The identities of the children have already been established, they are residents of the Sharhorod territorial community – students of Sharhorod Lyceum No. 2, Vladyslav Bevz and Mykola Bylyk.
Police in Vinnytsia detained a 23-year-old former teacher who is suspected of the brutal murder of two schoolchildren. The offender attacked 10th and 11th grade students while they were on their way to the lyceum.
The suspect in the murder of two schoolchildren in Sharhorod has been detained, and he has been charged with intentional murder. The bodies of the teenagers were found with knife wounds in the city center, causing deep mourning in the local community and throughout the region.
