Energy Workers' Day in Ukraine: How Industry Workers Overcome the Consequences of Attacks

Light and heat are essential for our existence, but for the past four years, Russia has been trying to destroy this foundation for millions of Ukrainians. Regardless, thanks to energy workers, the light always returns, and specialists are striving to provide normal living conditions for all of us.

We thank each energy worker who restores networks and generation, keeps the energy system stable, ensures electricity supply, and works even in dangerous zones to provide us with comfortable conditions.

We sincerely thank all energy workers for helping Ukraine stay afloat. Your work is important, and you truly do everything to make it easier for us. Thank you for your dedication and perseverance. Happy Energy Workers' Day!

Energy is one of the foundations of normal life. Light and heat are things without which it is impossible to live. And for almost four years now, Russia has been deliberately trying to destroy this foundation for millions of Ukrainians. And despite the difficult situation, the light always comes back. And behind every such restoration of power are our energy workers – particular people who work around the clock.

I thank everyone. I thank all our repair crews who restore networks and generation facilities damaged by strikes; everyone who stabilizes our energy system day and night, ensures electricity supply, the operation of power plants and other energy facilities; everyone working in frontline areas to return everything people need for normal life.
