These vehicles will go to the border service of Ukraine and the police of Kherson, Zhytomyr, Sumy, and Chernihiv. Egert Belichev, the general director of the Police and Border Guard Department (PPA), emphasized that internal security in the country begins with strengthening the police force. He noted that Ukrainian police and border guards are crucial for ensuring the safety of the population, but they lack vehicles due to old cars and the destruction of vehicles during Russian attacks.

The law enforcement officers of Estonia have decided to help Ukraine by sending 22 police cars that will be used by Ukrainian police and border guards. Some of the vehicles were purchased through donations, reports ERR.
