The Government of Ukraine has adopted a resolution that simplifies the process of obtaining compensation for damaged housing under the 'eRecovery' program. Now, to receive compensation, it is not necessary for all co-owners of the housing to submit an application - it is enough for one application from one person.
Among the main changes, the following can be highlighted:
- Only one co-owner can submit the application, but it will be considered submitted on behalf of all co-owners.
- The commission can approve the payment even if other co-owners do not express official objections.
- The compensation recipient is obligated to restore the housing to a suitable condition according to the checklist.
The start of the new rules will be announced later.
Overall, this resolution simplifies the procedure for obtaining compensation for damaged housing, reducing bureaucratic burdens and making it more convenient for the citizens of Ukraine.
