Disarium Festival 2026 in Lviv

According to Рубрика — Суспільство: On October 24–25, Lviv hosted the Disarium Festival 2026, a major event celebrating the creative industries. Over 5,000 attendees gathered for in-person sessions focused on modern design and marketing strategies, social media management, artificial intelligence, strategic development, and bringing creative ideas to life.

The festival featured presentations from 80 experts both from Ukraine and abroad. Among the speakers was Mykhailo Katsurin, CEO of the restaurant group Pryvit, who shared,

“This was my first time speaking on the big Disarium stage.”

Minister of Culture Tetiana Berezhna also addressed the audience, discussing how to commercialize creative concepts, launch businesses, and secure initial funding.

Creative Challenges and Fundraising Efforts

Designers took part in a competitive challenge during the festival, where teams developed concepts for a platform supporting the drone-interception special unit Posipaky. Participants had two hours to complete their projects, with winners selected from two finalists. Additionally, visitors were introduced to new book releases with appearances from authors, editors, and publishers.

Significantly, the festival’s charitable activities raised approximately 1.277 million UAH to aid Ukrainian military forces. Funds were directed to the Return Alive Foundation to purchase ground robotic systems and to support units including Azov, Bureviy, Da Vinci Wolves, and the Marine Infantry.

This event not only highlighted the creative sector’s vitality but also underscored the power of volunteerism in Ukraine. Simultaneously, the 16th Kyiv Marathon of Resilience took place in Khmelnytskyi, attracting around 11,000 participants and raising nearly 1.5 million UAH for the Special Operations Forces. Meanwhile, Lviv hosted its second annual charity Running Rave, combining running with music, where runners completed five kilometers and collected over 50,000 UAH for a military vehicle.

Disarium Festival 2026 demonstrated how creative industries can effectively blend art, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy to benefit society. The event emphasized the significant role these industries play in uniting people around shared goals, especially in support of those defending Ukraine. Through innovative programs that merge professional development with charitable causes, Disarium serves as a vital platform for idea exchange and community strengthening.

In addition to the impressive fundraising at the Disarium Festival, the recent 16th Kyiv Marathon of Resilience also made significant contributions, gathering nearly 1.5 million UAH for the Special Operations Forces. This highlights a growing trend of community-driven initiatives aimed at supporting Ukraine's military efforts during challenging times.
