FIFA has published a new ranking: Ukraine's national team position before decisive matches

According to glavcom.ua: The FIFA national team rankings have been updated. The Ukrainian national team is currently in 28th place with 1557.47 points, making it 14th among UEFA teams.

This update occurred without any new matches. Our players still have to go through several qualifying stages for the World Cup.

Plans of the Ukrainian national team

In the next stage, the Ukrainian national team will play against the national team of Sweden in the semifinal of the championship. If we win, we will play in the final against the winner of the pair Poland - Albania.

Our opponents occupy different positions in the FIFA ranking: Sweden - 43rd, Poland - 31st, and Albania - 63rd.

Recent Events

The Ukrainians successfully passed the first qualifying stage for the World Cup, defeating Iceland with a score of 2:0. The goals were scored by Zubkov (83) and Hutsulyak (90+3) in the second half.

This victory is extremely important for us, as it allowed us to continue the fight for participation in the tournament.
