According to Главком: The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has issued its daily operational update for January 29. The report highlights the Pokrovsk sector as the current focal point of the fighting, where Russian forces have concentrated their highest number of assaults.

Over the reporting period, Russian forces launched 25 airstrikes, deploying 69 guided aerial bombs. They also employed 2,583 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,684 artillery and mortar strikes on Ukrainian towns and military positions. Other sectors of the front also faced attacks. On the Oleksandrivka axis, 23 assaults were stopped, with airstrikes targeting Havrylivka and Pokrovske. The Huliaipole axis saw 41 attacks, particularly near Huliaipole, Dobropillia, Radisne, Varvarivka, Zelene, Pryluky, Zaliznychne, Olenokostiantynivka, Sviatopetrivka, and Staroukrainka. On the Orikhiv axis, 2 attacks occurred in the directions of Lukianivske and Pavlivka.
