Danyk addressed the energy workers of Ukraine: how rescuers and energy workers are working under shelling

According to ДСНС: Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Andriy Danyk:

"Dear energy workers! Our indomitable and strong people! Every day, where the enemy tries to plunge the country into darkness, you bring back the light. Where explosions sound, you are the first to go to the destroyed substations, lines, so that Ukraine may live.

Each of us understands the value of your work not by hearsay. Rescuers stand shoulder to shoulder with you extinguishing large fires after Russian strikes on energy facilities, working amidst fire, smoke, and danger. Often-without pauses and without the right to fatigue. Because behind us are millions of homes, hospitals, schools, families... For every Ukrainian, you are the ones thanks to whom light and warmth appear in homes, thanks to whom even in the hardest days there remains a sense of home and hope.

Support for an important task

And no matter how difficult it is for us today, no matter how hard the darkest blackouts the enemy tries to push us into-we will endure. Because Ukraine stands on its people. On people like you.

Thank you for your courage, endurance, and commitment to the cause. We work together. We hold the line. We will win!

The head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine expressed gratitude to the energy workers for their courage and uncompromisingness in solving important tasks related to the country's energy supply.
