Zbigniew Bogucki Listed in Myrotvorets Database

According to Главком: Karol Nawrocki's chief of staff, Zbigniew Bogucki, has been entered into the database of the Myrotvorets Center due to statements he made about western Ukraine. The file labels Bogucki an "anti-Ukrainian propagandist" and outlines the reasons for his inclusion.

The listed justifications include:

  • encroachment on Ukraine's sovereignty,
  • attempts to undermine territorial integrity,
  • involvement in acts of humanitarian aggression,
  • and manipulation of facts.

The website's administrators have urged law enforcement to scrutinize Bogucki's activities. The entry was triggered by remarks he made during a speech in the Polish Sejm, where he referred to Ukraine's western regions as "Eastern Małopolska."

Polish President's Response

On June 19, Polish President Karol Nawrocki decided to strip Volodymyr Zelensky of the Order of the White Eagle. This decision followed a controversy over a Ukrainian military unit being named after UPA heroes. Several Ukrainian officials announced they would return their Polish awards, and Zelensky stated he had mailed the order back to Poland.

Bogucki's inclusion in the Myrotvorets database highlights escalating tensions between Ukraine and Poland, particularly amid political statements that could threaten Ukraine's territorial integrity. Such actions may impact bilateral relations, especially given Poland's role as a key ally for Ukraine in security matters and European integration.

The recent entry of Zbigniew Bogucki into the Myrotvorets database underscores the rising tensions between Poland and Ukraine. This situation may lead to further diplomatic challenges, particularly as Poland considers limiting Nawrocki's interactions with Zelenskyy. Such developments could significantly influence the future of their bilateral relations, especially in the context of security cooperation.
