The chief curator of the museum died at the front: the story of combat medic Maria Gritsenko

In Chernihiv, Marina Gritsenko, the chief curator of the Chernihiv Art Museum, died while serving at the front as a combat nurse. The 39-year-old woman was awarded the Order of Courage for her military merits. She gave her life while performing a combat mission, becoming a victim of an enemy drone attack. Marina was born into a medical family, graduated from university in Chernihiv, and worked at the museum since 2008. She left behind a teenage daughter and her parents. In addition to Marina, two other heroes died at the front - police officer Alexander Pantyukhov and renowned rower Yuri Bredak.
