Public transport in Zaporizhzhia changed routes on December 1, 2025
In Zaporizhzhia, on December 1, public transport operates on changed routes. The reason is the closure of traffic across the DniproHES dam and possible power outages affecting the operation of electric transport. The Zaporizhzhia City Council reports this writes.
Trolleybuses, trams, and buses temporarily run on updated routes. Some routes have been adjusted or replaced with additional buses to ensure communication between the left-bank and right-bank parts of the city. The city council reports that the changes will be in effect throughout the day, with timetables published separately.

The work of electric transport is organized as follows:

trolleybus routes No. 3, 8, 9, 14, 17 operate on adjusted schemes

trams No. 3, 10, 15 run on approved routes

tram No. 14 operates on the route “Highway – Freedom Square”

tram No. 16 – “Pavlo-Kichkas – Zaporizhzhia Circus”

route No. 12 is temporarily not operational.
In case of power outages, trams No. 3 and No. 16 will be replaced by buses that will carry passengers on special alternative routes.
How buses operate in Zaporizhzhia on December 1
The bus network operates considering the closure of the dam. Some routes run on adjusted schemes, and some trips have been extended to “Freedom Square.” Particularly changed are routes No. 17, 18, and 72 – they detour the dam via Vinter Boulevard, Kiyashka Street, Academician Vesnin Street, Khortytsia Island, and Metallurgists Avenue.
The city authorities emphasize that the number of buses has been increased to avoid overcrowding, and information about possible further changes will be published separately.
Earlier we reported that a digital transport card “Sich General” has been introduced in Zaporizhzhia, which allows for fare payment in public transport directly from a smartphone.
