According to ХВИЛЯ: In December 2025, the Ukrainian auto market recorded unprecedented sales of new passenger cars - 12,400 units, the highest figure since March 2014. This result demonstrates a significant increase in interest in new cars among Ukrainians.

Compared to November 2025, sales of new passenger cars rose by 50%. In addition, in December 2025, the sale of cars increased by 2.2 times compared to December 2024, indicating a positive trend in the market. During the entire year of 2025, Ukrainians purchased 81,300 new passenger cars, which is 17% more than in 2024.

Among the most in-demand brands in December 2025, BYD leads with 3164 cars sold, followed by:
