China is monitoring the war in Ukraine - intelligence statement

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense reported that China is carefully watching the events during the conflict in Ukraine.

According to the Deputy Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Vadim Skibitsky, the Chinese side pointed out the presence of a nuclear triad in China and the latest missile weaponry, as well as a large mobilization potential.

'Beijing is closely studying the situation in our region, analyzing both Russian and Western weaponry used in combat conditions. They are monitoring the conflict very attentively,'

he emphasized.

It was also noted that Ukrainian intelligence is conducting its own analysis of China's potential demonstrated at the SCO summit.

A representative of the intelligence emphasized China's attentiveness to the weaponry used in Ukraine and global politics in general. He highlighted China's significant interest in the developments in Eastern Europe and readiness to analyze new military technologies to protect its own interests.
