The GUR reported attempts by Russia to involve another country in the war against Ukraine
According to hvylya.net: In addition to the already documented mass recruitment of mercenaries from African and Asian countries, as well as the deployment of units from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the Russian military-political leadership is developing schemes to involve so-called partner states in combat operations under the guise of implementing humanitarian initiatives in Russian regions bordering Ukraine.
The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports new attempts by Russian leadership to expand the list of participating countries in aggression against Ukraine. Against the backdrop of critical losses in personnel and depletion of internal resources, the Kremlin is actively seeking alternative sources to replenish military forces.
Integration of Laos into Russia's military operations
According to obtained intelligence data, the latest attempt to integrate into military operations is being carried out by the Russian side regarding Laos. Moscow is organizing the process of attracting a combined detachment of engineering troops from the People's Army of Laos to carry out demining work on the territory of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
Given the significant economic dependence of Laos on external sources of funding, the leadership of this country shows readiness to cooperate with the Russian side. At the initial stage, the Laotian leadership agrees to send a contingent of up to 50 sapper servicemen to Russia to participate in demining operations in the Kursk region.
Additionally, Laos provides free assistance to the Russian Federation through the organization of rehabilitation events for injured Russian servicemen who were directly involved in combat operations on the Ukrainian front.
The Main Directorate of Intelligence emphasizes that Russia uses humanitarian rhetoric as a cover to legitimize the presence of foreign military contingents on its territory, effectively exploiting them to ensure the continuation of military operations against Ukraine.
The Ukrainian intelligence agency continues to document and record the facts of international complicity in armed aggression against the Ukrainian state.
In the light of the current conflict, the Sudanese side is trying to remain neutral, as Ukraine has traditionally been a strategic partner of this country and has provided assistance in reforming military structures.
