Russian enemies attacked the Kherson thermal power plant

Recently, Russian occupiers have been actively attacking the Kherson thermal power plant with drones, artillery, and other weapons. This was reported by representatives of the authorities, citing the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to him, the thermal power plant, which provides heat to local residents, sustained serious damage. Buildings and equipment at the plant were damaged, leading to a temporary halt in operations. More than 40,500 subscribers are left without heating in 470 homes.

«We are already considering options for alternative heating supply for affected households and coordinating the provision of electric heaters and other heating equipment to residents,» Prokudin explained.

It was also reported that Points of Resilience have been established in the city, where citizens can receive warmth and charge their phones.

Intense attack of enemy drones in Odesa

On the night of December 4, Odesa again became a target for an intense attack of enemy drones. As a result of the shelling, six people were injured, and civil and energy facilities were damaged.

Recently, it was announced that round-the-clock electricity restrictions have been imposed in all regions of Ukraine.

The situation in eastern Ukraine, with attacks on energy facilities and residential buildings, is worsening the lives of citizens and creating serious problems with energy supply. Measures must be taken to protect the civilian population and avoid human casualties and destruction.
